Celebrating the 100th years of Excellency of the town of Guiguinto, Bulacan

           Flowers and plants as a symbol of Barangay Ilang-Ilang in the Street Dancing Competition


      Guiguintenyos celebrates there 16th Halamanan Festival in line with the 100th years of foundation of their municipality.

       People of the Municipality of Guiguinto in the Province of Bulacan celebrates there annually Halamanan Festival a celebration of plants, flowers and tress giving honor to their patron saint, Saint Ildefonso de Toledo last January 21,2014.

     Street dancing was conducted as the main celebration. Dancers from different schools, departments and barangay's adorned the garments as flowers, plants and more. Exposing their main sources of living in the business of horticulture as landscaping, propagation seedling, plant growing, flower cutting, arranging and interior decorating.

      The participant in the parade and street dancing are the; Kolehiyo ng Guiguinto, Government Officials, Guiguinto OFW Family Circle, Knights of Columbus, Guiguinto Water District, Rotary Club Guiguinto Suburbs, Ospital ng Guiguinto, the barangay's of; Cutcut, Daungan, Ilang-Ilang, Malis, Panginay, Poblacion, Pritil, Pulong Gubat, Santa Cruz, Santa Rita, Tabang, Tabe, Tiaong and Tuktukan.

    Every participants and natives of the town joined the annual event with their participation and cooperation. A sign of simple smile in every face of Guiguintenyos that expresses there faithfulness and love for their own town.

    In addition, Hon. Ambrosio C. Cruz Jr. the Alkalde Mayor of the town said, "Napakasaya ng araw na ito dahil ating ipinagdiriwang ang araw ng ating Bayan, ngunit nakakalungkot sa isang trahedyang kelan lamang ay nangyari sa ating lugar". Despite of the tragedy happened before the celebration, Guiguintenyos lift and stand again as they unite for their town.

   "Ang langgam ang simbolo ng ating lugar, masisipag, masisinop at maypatutunguhan. Yan ang tatak Guiguintenyos may paninindigan para sa bayan", added by Mayor Cruz.


      Every natives of the town uplift there goals by the message of the Alkalde. Hon. Cruz leaved a message that every tragedy in happened in the town, still God is there for them, prayers and faithfulness will be there armor to fight and be firm.

7 million devotees join the Holliness of Pope Francis in the Philippines

Catholic Filipino's witness the powerful blessings of Jesus Christ in the presences of Pope Francis


       Millions of devotees celebrates the feast of the Child Jesus (Sto.Nino) in Quirino Grandstand with the Holiness of Pope Francis.

      Almost 7millions of pilgrims and devotees joined the Holy Mass of Pope Francis last Sunday 18th day of January at the Luneta Grandstand. Part of the 5 days apostolic visit of the Pope in the Philippines.

        After he meet the youth and religious people at the University of Sto. Tomas, Pope Francis go forthwith to the Quirino Grandstand using the Filipino Pride Pope Mobile that was made from the design of a jeepney.

       Pope Francis immediately starts the Holy Mass after he greeted all the people who are waiting almost 20 hours in the grandstand. He gave everyone a smile of hope and peace.

       In his homily, Pope Francis expressed his love to all the Filipino people. He states that "We need to end the poverty, ignorance and corruption". In this statement Pope Francis really care for all Filipinos. By ending the poverty, helping each other to lead in the country of cognizance and cut the corruption that causes all the challenges in the country.

       On the other hand, at the middle of the mass Pope Francis bless all the Sto. Nino images as the celebration of the Feast day of the Child Jesus. A sinulog dance were presented to the Pope as part of Filipino culture and unending devotion to the Child Jesus.

      Devotees who brought their images where so glad as they join the dancing of the sinulog. They believed that the Child Jesus will give them hope.

       As Pope Francis said, "Lets us be like Sto. Nino, Sto. Nino will make us one family as we believe and strengthen our faith.

      In the latter part of the mass Pope Francis bless everyone. Candle lighting was done as the symbol of faith. As the music "We all are God's Children" plays, Filipinos were united on faith, dreaming for the better nation and reaching the love and peace that God gave, "Spread the light of love, hope and peace to everyone", added by Pope Francis.

       The Pope also remember the Youth as he said "let's care the young people, justice, integrity and peace as we become a one family with Christ Jesus".
