December 16, 2014
Parishioners of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostle's Parish attend the first day of the 9 days Simbang Gabi or Misa de Aguinaldo.
Simbang Gabi or Misa de Aguinaldo the 9
days novena masses preparation for the Christmas starts.
All Catholic parishes and chapels
started there night and dawn masses for the Simbang Gabi or Misa de Aguinaldo.
December 15 at night and December 16 at dawn, many Filipino Catholics were
packed with overflowing faithfulness as they sacrifice and heartedly attend
masses.
These masses are annualy done for the
coming of Christmas or the Birth of Jesus. Sacrifices and offering of many Filipino Catholics were offered as the sign of their thanksgiving.
"Ang Simbang Gabi ay ang pagala-ala
at paghahanda ng sarili sa kapanganakan ng anting Panginoon", said Fr.
Gerald Pangilinan Guest Priest of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostle's Parish Apalit, Pamanga.
Every human being as a wish
to complete the 9 days novena masses because there is a joy after it.
According to Mrs. Ruby Sarmiento
parishioner who wants to complete the 9 days, "iba kasi yung feeling
pagnabuo mo yung 9 days nayun. Sacrifice nadin kasi para sa Diyos iyon,
pasasalamat sa mga blessings nya".
Simple thoughts and
sacrifice were given by Catholics to our Savoir Jesus Christ. By attending
masses, offering prayers and thanksgiving is a sign that faithfulness of
Filipino people became firm as life goes by.
"Patatagin natin ang
ating pananampalataya. Wag nating kalimutan ang sanggol na isisilang at tutubos
ng ating mga kasalanan. Ang pagdating niya ay magdadala ng kapayapaan sa bawat
isa", added by Fr. Pangilinan.
That the birth of Jesus will
teach every human to love and share. Hope for the peace of every faithful.
