Filipino Catholics starts there 9 days Misa de Aguinaldo

       Parishioners of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostle's Parish attend the first day of the 9 days Simbang Gabi or Misa de Aguinaldo.



        Simbang Gabi or Misa de Aguinaldo the 9 days novena masses preparation for the Christmas starts.

        All Catholic parishes and chapels started there night and dawn masses for the Simbang Gabi or Misa de Aguinaldo. December 15 at night and December 16 at dawn, many Filipino Catholics were packed with overflowing faithfulness as they sacrifice and heartedly attend masses.

       These masses are annualy done for the coming of Christmas or the Birth of Jesus. Sacrifices and offering of many Filipino Catholics were offered as the sign of their thanksgiving.

     "Ang Simbang Gabi ay ang pagala-ala at paghahanda ng sarili sa kapanganakan ng anting Panginoon", said Fr. Gerald Pangilinan Guest Priest of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostle's Parish Apalit, Pamanga.

       Every human being as a wish to complete the 9 days novena masses because there is a joy after it.

      According to Mrs. Ruby Sarmiento parishioner who wants to complete the 9 days, "iba kasi yung feeling pagnabuo mo yung 9 days nayun. Sacrifice nadin kasi para sa Diyos iyon, pasasalamat sa mga blessings nya".

    Simple thoughts and sacrifice were given by Catholics to our Savoir Jesus Christ. By attending masses, offering prayers and thanksgiving is a sign that faithfulness of Filipino people became firm as life goes by.

    "Patatagin natin ang ating pananampalataya. Wag nating kalimutan ang sanggol na isisilang at tutubos ng ating mga kasalanan. Ang pagdating niya ay magdadala ng kapayapaan sa bawat isa", added by Fr. Pangilinan.

      That the birth of Jesus will teach every human to love and share. Hope for the peace of every faithful.

       The Alpha Phi Omega Epsilon Kappa Chapter-Bulacan conducted their 9th freedom run last December 10, 2014 at Bulacan State University, in lieu with the foundation week of the university.

       With the theme of "Biktima ng Nakaraan, Katarungan Huwag Kalimutan" the main goal of the freedom run is to give their support to fight for all the criminal cases in our country that until today they are not given justice.

         Mr. Michael D. Francia the Grand Chancelor of Alpha Phi Omega stated that, "yung Freedom Run namin ngayon ay nakatuon sa paglaban at pagsuporta sa pagkakaroon ng hustisya sa mga krimen sa ating bansa. Alam naman natin na ang bagal ng pagkamit ng hustisya sa atin, ang iba ay natatakpan o di kaya ay mali".

       Participated by the neophyte's of the organization, men run nude around the campus. Wearing there mask and hold roses as they run for their freedom.

      Running nude is there act to give importance about the different issues in our country, especially about the justice. "We believed that Justice is for everyone, Justice is not for sale", added by Francia.

       In addition, this event was annually done every 3rd day of the university week. Its start at the Valencia Hall and end at the Apo Tree were they form circle around it and sing there theme song.

      Students and young professionals witnesses this freedom run every year, as the target viewer of the organization. "Ginagawa namin to hindi para magpasikat kundi para malaman ng mga mamamamyan at kabataan na may pakialam tayo sa mga nangyayari sa ating bansa", said Francia.

      After the event, all the member of the organization will stay at the Apo Three and they will share lunch to each member "buddle fight", signified there unity as they fight for peace.

Bravery and Heroism of the Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit

Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit advocay concert featuring the Roots of the Nation Band



        The organization Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit launched an advocacy concert for the benefit of the Bulacan Province.

        Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit (BN) President Mr. Art Dela Cruz launched an advocacy concert concerning for the Province, Youth, Citizens and Environment last Friday 28th day of November 2014 with a theme of “Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit, Para sa Bayan, Kalikasan at Kabataan” held at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center, City of Malolos.

     “Layon ng adbokasiyang ito na magmalasakitan at pagkaisahin ang bawat Bulakenyo sa iba’t ibang sector ng buhay”, according to Dela Cruz. Giving priority with the bayanihan life of every citizens of the province, especially for the youth because they are the one who will lift up the province someday.

        With the free admission, the advocacy concert features different performing bands and awarding of the outstanding Bulakenyo’s. Cherishing the sacrifices that they gave for the province and honoring their bravery and heroism.

      “Bigyan natin ng karangalan ang mga Bulakenyong naging bayani at nag ambag ng kanilang buhay para sa probinsya”, BN Chairman Mr. Obet Pagdanganan said.

        Distributing the awards for the Youth “Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit Para sa Kabataan, the 7 tourism students who died in the Madlum Tragedy; Sean Rodney Alejo, Helena Marie Marcelo, Jeannette Rivera, Maiko Eleva Bartolome, Mary Magdaline Navarro, Michelle Ann Rose Bonzo and Mikhail Alcantara. These young people sacrifices their lives to rescue their co-students.

       In addition, the late Bulakenyo Pride Journalist Mr. Dino Balabo receives an award about his contribution to the world of media in the province. The outstanding “Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit Para sa Bayan”, received by his wife and daughter.

      On the world of Environmental Reporting, Bro. Martin Francisco honored as the outstanding “Bulakenyong Nagmamalasakit Para sa Kalikasan”. Recognizing his full heartedly care for the environment especially for the indigenous groups of the province.

    The outstanding people who receives the awards shown the bravery of every Bulakenyo’s. Encouraging every citizens to be good like them. “Ibalik natin ang urihinal na kaugalian, lalo na ang pagmamalasakitan sa bawat isa”, added by Dela Cruz.

     After the recognition, the concert continuous as the local bands performs. The Citrus Blend, Deuterium Band, Roots of Nation and ASIN. Performed their best genre, international and local music.

       The advocacy concert ended by the simple performance of the ASIN band, singing OPM Music that everyone enjoyed. By this, the advocacy launched so that every Bulakenyo’s can realize the true meaning of “Pagmamalasakitan”.

BulSUans shouts, End Impunity!

     BulSUans unite as they fight for justice for the 5th commemoration of the Maguindanao Massacre.



        Students from different colleges and organizations unites as they fought for justice to the Maguindanao Massacre and prior to the rights for the youth.

        Bulacan State University holds an event commemorating the 5th year anniversary of the Maguindanao Massacre, having vigorious parade and rally in the whole campus last Wednesday November 26, 2014.

       Students who were involve on the said event were requested to wear black shirts that significe the mourning after 5 years of the massacre. Dismayed about the slow flow of the case that until now haven't seek justice, wherein 58 were dead and 32 journalists were involved.

        Lead by the different colleges and organizations, the College of Arts and Letters(CAL), College of Nursing(CON), College of Criminal Justice Education(CCJE), College of Engenering(COE), College of Industrial Technology(CIT), Youth for Human Rights, Partidong Demokratikong Mag-aaral(PDM), Journalism Society, Hiraya Kolektib, The Communique, Pacesetter, BulSu Eco-Rangers, BulSU Hagonoy Campus, Gabriela Youth, Student Christian Movement, League of Filipino Students(LFS), National Union of Students of the Philippines(NUSP), Student Government(SG), and the College Editors Guild of the Philippines(CGEP). As one, they were united to lead and shout for justice to give honor to the victims of the tragic case. Somehow, they want to remind the youth and their fellow students to get involve and open their minds that as a citizen they should be showing concern and awareness toward our nations' untold and unsolved hindrances.


        “We need to end the impunity in our country, as a youth we can change the problems that our country is facing. We can help the victims of the massacre to pursue the justice that they deserved. Kaylangan na nating wakasan ang ganitong karahasan sa mga journalists”.  Said Mark Edzel Santiago Chairman and Mass Leader of the League of Filipino Students (LFS).

        On the other hand, a program held after the parade. Giving every colleges and organizations a message of encouragement to every students and youth to pursue and fight for justice. "We need to do this not only for our self, but more importantly for the victims and their families. Kaylangan nating buksan ang ating isipan kung ano ang mga nangyayaring kamalian sa ating lipunan", added by Santiago.

       In line with that, the whole ambience of the Heroes Park was succumb with silence and prayers. Offering candles as a sign of sympathy and hope for a faster resolution and action regarding this incident. Hopefully this story would not be written as a History or a Memoir to remember.


        Nevertheless, the event also gave way to disseminate the advocay of the different organizations, especially the Right of the Youth, giving oppurtunity to every youth to get involve, intervene and fight for their rights.
